Learn from the queen of absolutely bizarre and shockingly effective props! This two hour workshop is a great resource for anyone wanting to branch out into prop work, anyone who is object-curious, and anyone who has asked the age old question “how do I make my floor work visible on this funky stage”.
This class will cover how to move with and on nearly anything, methods for creating and choosing props, how props work as an extension of your energy on stage, and how they can help or hinder your connection to your audience and your act.
Focused on burlesque style performances, but anyone who is interested is welcome to attend and learn! All genders and persons are welcome, and unsafe behavior will get you ejected without a refund.
Props for experimenting and challenging yourself with will be provided. This class will involve some movement- dress in whatever way is most comfortable and empowering for you.
